We have industry-leading facilities and processes.

At our facility, we have extensive state-of-the-art graphics and plate making equipment. We have made major investments in redundant equipment to virtually eliminate downtime. We carefully maintain a unique and secure Master File System with a separate Master File for each drug we have supported. This system allows for fast turnaround times, without sacrificing quality of our printing plates.

Our Press Proofing Capabilities

Here at Quint, we have a proprietary press proofing department that includes custom made proofing presses. Our custom presses enable us to print proofs of the actual printing plates that we send to our customer. We then take those printed samples and verify each barcode to ensure that it scans an “A” grade, 3.5 or above. The printed sample, along with the barcode verification report, is sent to the customer. These press proofing capabilities allow us to guarantee that we are producing the highest quality printing plates on the market.

Top-Tier Quality Control

Our Quality Assurance Department utilizes two high definition vision systems, which allows our QA associates to meticulously review each plate prior to sign-off approval. We use state-of-the-art micrometers to measure the thickness and relief of every plate, ensuring compliance through all the stages of production. Our proprietary 200-point checklist enables us to not only meet, but exceeding our customers’ requirements.

Barcode Pioneers

We are pioneers in the use of bar coding on medical packaging.

For nearly three decades, Quint has been involved with the FDA Bar Code Regulation. We have worked with the Uniform Code Council (UCC) to understand the various standards and applications of the new GS1 and Composite Symbology, and we have implemented SOPs to give us the control required to manufacture printing plates that comply with FDA requirements.
